We've had a rather relaxed weekend here in Orlando. Madison and I decided to stop by the largest McDonald's in the world for lunch on Thursday. We also stopped by 711 on 7/11 to receive our free slurpees! The 8th member of the "8 is Enough" clan stayed the weekend, and I received several VIP magic shows. We also played a lot of cards and tried to whiten our teeth (somewhat unsuccessfully) with strawberries and baking powder.
Today I went back to work to learn about operating a cash register. While this course was somewhat repetitive and tedious for myself, several of my international coworkers struggled with the American money system. I also received my "Disney Discount" book today, which lists all of the stores and restaurants where I receive a Disney discount. There are hundreds of establishments in the book, including: Sprint, T Mobile, Bright House, AMC (movie theatre), Calvin Klein outlet stores, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Subway, TGI Friday's, and Benihana. I'm still searching for a full-time job, but I'm glad I get the perks of being a Disney cast member in the meantime!
